Friday, August 29, we held a 2014 Football Season Kick Off! To get the residents and staff pumped up for the upcoming football season, Walker Valley High School’s Senior Football Players, Senior Cheerleaders, and the Drum Line, had a Pep Rally. The band and cheerleaders performed some of their new music and stunts. After the Pep Rally was over everyone walked around to sign autographs and take pictures with the residents. We spent the rest of the day eating hotdogs and hamburgers, hanging out by the tailgates, and playing corn hole. To end the day we competed in our own version of the “Ice Bucket Challenge” in which all the money we raised will be going to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
